Sanjeev Kulkarni, Ph.D. has been on the faculty at Princeton University since 1991, where he is currently the William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Operations Research and Financial Engineering. He is also an affiliated faculty member in the Department of Philosophy, the Center for Information Technology Policy, and the Center for Statistics and Machine Learning.  From 2017 to 2021, Professor Kulkarni served as the Dean of the Faculty, and prior to that from 2014 to 2017 as Dean of the Graduate School. His scholarly interests include machine learning, nonparametric statistics, information theory, and signal and image processing.
