Barry Honig, Ph.D. is Professor of Systems Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, Medical Science in Medicine and Faculty, Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute at Columbia University. Professor Honig uses computational approaches to study the structure and function of biological macromolecules. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Biophysical Society and the International Society for Computational Biology. He received the Alexander Hollaender Award in Biophysics from the National Academy of Sciences and the DeLano Award for Computational Biosciences from the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is the author of over 350 publications.
