Alexandru D. Ionescu is a professor of mathematics at Princeton University. He has received numerous National Science Foundation grants, the Romnes Award, the Packard Fellowship in Science and Engineering, and the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship. Most of his work is concerned with questions related to the long-term dynamics of solutions of partial differential equations.
