Huda Y. Zoghbi

Baylor College of Medicine

Huda Y. Zoghbi is distinguished service professor at the Baylor College of Medicine. She is also an investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the founding director of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital. She has been awarded numerous recognitions for her work, including the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences, the Gairdner Award, the Brain Prize, and the Kavli Prize in Neuroscience. She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Inventors.
