Clifford P. Brangwynne is June K. Wu ’92 Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, and founding director of the Omenn-Darling Bioengineering Institute, at Princeton University. He is also an investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The Brangwynne lab is focused on elucidating the fundamental principles underlying biological organization, with a particular interest in membrane-less organelles/condensates which form within living cells. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize in Biophysics and the Breakthrough Prize for Life Sciences. He is a Searle Scholar, NSF CAREER Award, NIH New Innovator, ASCB Emerging Leader, Sloan Fellow, and Macarthur Fellow.
